Nacelle invite la chanteuse et percussionniste Mélanie Bourire !

Nacelle propose des compositions originales puisant dans des rythmiques d'inspiration afro-créole pour les mêler à des mélodies et à des grooves méditatifs rappelant ​la musique de transe. Le groupe s'inspire notamment du jazz spirituel des années 1960 et du jazz spirituel contemporain. Son univers musical a inspiré les réalisateurs Julien Regnard et Pascal Giraud : ils réalisent actuellement un clip animé (produit par Super Tchip) pour le morceau « El Din ».

Mélanie Bourire baigne dès l'enfance dans un environnement multiculturel. Son enfance vibre aux sons des gospels et des musiques du monde qui la conduiront aux percussions et aux chants afro-cubains. Formée au maloya à La Réunion auprès de Vincent Philéas et de Tyéri Abmon, elle a notamment collaboré avec Ann O'Aro, Ananda Devi-Péters, Loy Erlich, Oriane Lacaille, Maya Kamaty ainsi que le groupe Saodaj. En novembre 2019, elle fonde le trio de jazz maloya KoMBo.

Nacelle invites singer and percussionist Mélanie Bourire!

Nacelle's original compositions draw on Afro-Creole-inspired rhythms, blending them with meditative melodies and grooves reminiscent of trance music. The group draws its inspiration from the spiritual jazz of the 1960s and contemporary spiritual jazz. Their musical universe has inspired directors Julien Regnard and Pascal Giraud, who are currently making an animated video (produced by Super Tchip) for the track ‘El Din’.

Mélanie Bourire grew up in a multicultural environment. Her childhood vibrated to the sounds of gospel and world music, which led her to percussion and Afro-Cuban songs. Trained in maloya in La Réunion with Vincent Philéas and Tyéri Abmon, she has worked with Ann O'Aro, Ananda Devi-Péters, Loy Erlich, Oriane Lacaille, Maya Kamaty and the group Saodaj. In November 2019, she will form the maloya jazz trio KoMBo.
